With a growing range of automated manufacturing processes to create incredibly accurate objects, there’s both a beauty and necessity in understanding hand-processes.

Working from timber yard offcuts and recycled timber pieces, I have challenged myself to create custom pieces that take advantage of the specific found object, highlighting it’s imperfections. Through this project, I’ve been able to explore new forms that otherwise would have been neglected.
